I began shipping horses to the United States in 1996, and once their new horses arrived, I travelled over to work with and coach the new owners. In 2002 I settled in Kentucky. I continued importing, breeding, producing, and competing for Irish horses until I suffered a career-ending injury in 2016. After my injury, while pondering what to do next, my brother persuaded me to introduce his equine supplement line to the United States. I was hesitant since I believed I would be entering a crowded market, but after conducting an extensive study, I decided to go for it. The next step was to locate a vitamin and mineral supplement company.

After several meetings and the risk that it would not happen, a manufacturer was identified, and the rest is history, as they say. Parkmore’s product line has grown over time, and we now carry products for both humans and dogs and cats (so all members of the family are catered for). Parkmore is currently the exclusive distributor of Botanica international natural health goods in the United States, as of 2021. I continue to import horses for clients, hold combined training clinics across the country, and offer one-on-one and group lessons.
